Denmark Street Fish & Chips
The Denmark Street Fish & Chip shop is probably the most famous Fish & Chip shop in Bedford and has a justified reputation for excellent service as well as brilliant fish and chips!
They needed a website to help spread the word about their shop, in particular to local businesses to whom Denmark Street offers a coroporate service. As a community favourite they also wanted a diary element to the site to publisice their involvement in local events such as the large local River Festival.
In addition, the owners wanted a general branding update as they want to change the look of the shop branding itself and therefore I created the new look both for the website (styled to look like a Newspaper) and for the shop itself, incorporating a little Viking Longship as a play on the word Denmark.
The site was built using WordPress as a Blog and Content Management System, CSS 2, XHTML 1.0 Strict and PHP.
